In the research by means of a comprehensive analysis there has been systematized and conceptualized the historical experience of the implementation of the memory policy as a component of the state strategy of achieving national unity in leading and transitive countries of the world. There have been worked out the practical recommendations concerning forms, directions, ways of an actualization and potential's enhancement of instrumental capabilities of the memory policy in development of Ukraine's national historical narrative with taking into account the world experience.
