Composite powders of a wide range of grain sizes based on superhard materials (synthetic and natural diamond, cBN and B4C) for grinding tools in the form of STM grinding powders and granules obtained by metallization of ordinary and composite coatings were produced, and a complex of its characteristics, morphometric characteristics specifically, as well as technological properties and the shape of the projection of grains were studied. The possibility of increasing the wear resistance of grinding wheels due to the use of new grinding powders of the developed composite materials in the cutting layer has been proven. Experimental samples of composite materials of STM powders of various grain sizes and grades were produced, experimental batches of composite powders were made, the necessary technological documentation was developed and formalized, a grinding tool was produced and the tests were carried out during high-performance processing.
