The improved method for calculating complex thermochemical and thermodynamic processes in hydrogen systems using metal-hydrides has been developed, which makes it possible to select a hydride-forming material with the necessary characteristics; determine the geometry and structure of the layer, as well as the location of the heat exchange surfaces; give an assessment of the effectiveness of methods for intensifying the thermo-sorption process and choose the optimal method, depending on the purpose; optimize the design parameters according to the specified characteristics, which determine the total weight of the system, operating pressures, required cost parameters, temperature range and etc.
