The electronic social network (ECM) is defined as a symbiosis of social and technical reality, which forms various communicative configurations (spatial-temporal, subject-subject, subject-object), which compensate for the high informational density of modern society and exercise all types of social communication (mass, interpersonal, group) at all technological levels: verbal, written, audio-visual. The analysis and systematization of world and domestic experience, presented in the abstract survey "Experience and prospects of using electronic social networks in education" (3d, electronic resource: http://lib.iitta.gov.ua/11453/) is carried out.  The main approaches to model presentation, analysis, accounting and improvement of educational styles are described in the design and functioning of methodical systems of education of open education. The classification of objects and subjects of the use of ECM has been carried out, details of some aspects of the use of the forms of organization of training of students by types of social objects have been made. The hypothesis of raising the level of motivation of high school students to cognitive activity, formation of their IC-competence, communicative competence, skills of collaboration and collaboration in the network has been confirmed in these conditions. It is proved that the use of ECM as an element of open IOS promotes formation of interconnected structured educational content, increase the scale of user access to information resources, provides the possibility of informational and procedural support for the purposeful cognitive activity of the individual, influences the development of the dialogic nature of the educational process. The didactic value of electronic social networks is determined through the possibilities of providing group learning interaction. The models of IOS training for high school students, in particular using electronic social networks, have been theoretically substantiated and developed. On the basis of: comparative analysis of scientific and methodological principles of simulation of the virtual learning environment; use of models of information influence in social networks, in particular theoretic game, optimization and imitation models, models of social influence, distance-based and wave model; the use of a competent approach and taking into account the main stages of pedagogical design created models of individual components of the IOC. The concept of formation of IOS for senior pupils was developed, according to which ECM services are considered as means of joint educational activity; means of deploying social contacts and expanding the social interaction of all participants in the educational process; means of realization of problem-situational, interactive, person-oriented methods of education and training; means of forming types of social behavior. The ways of prevention and protection are defined for each group of risks and dangers of ECM, which should be used by teachers and senior pupils.
