Object of research - the process of formation of national-cultural identity of adolescents. The subject of the study is pedagogical conditions for the formation of national-cultural identity in adolescents. Methods of research: theoretical - studying, analysis and generalization of philosophical, sociological, pedagogical and psychological literature on the research problem in order to determine the theoretical foundations of the chosen theme, development of scientific approaches to the definition of the essence and content of the basic concepts, development and justification of the pedagogical conditions of formation in adolescents of national- cultural identity; systematization and classification of empirical information; methods of comparative analysis, interpretation and generalization of facts; modeling; empirical - study, analysis and generalization of methodological materials on the formation of adolescent national-cultural identity in extracurricular work; diagnostic (direct and indirect pedagogical observation of pupils, their questionnaires, interviews, interviews, conversations, tests, writing of creative works, solving problem situations); a confirmatory experiment in which the levels of formation of the national-cultural identity of adolescents were determined. Novelty of the work: analyzed psychological and pedagogical literature on the problem under study; the essence and structural components of the national-cultural identity of adolescents are specified; the criteria, indicators and the levels of formation of the national-cultural identity of adolescents are determined; the methods of the qualifying stage of research are developed; the preliminary stage of the research was conducted; materials of the results of the qualifying phase of the research are analyzed.
