According to the results of empirical study the high prominence of the main types of social tension in organizations (STO) and negative mental states (rigidity, anxiety, aggression, frustration) in a large number of educational organization employees was revealed. The negative and positive statistically significant correlations between the levels of organizational culture development (its components, types, strength) and most of types of STO and individual psychological states were found. The expediency of using the technological approach to educational staff'straining for the development of organizational culture in conditions of social tension was substantiated.
