Research dedicated the socio-cultural and socio-political Processes in Ukraine Romanian-Moldavian border in terms of EU enlargement and changes in the function boundaries, ethno-cultural and ethno-political landscape of the border area of Chernivtsi and Zakarpattia regions. he research is complex, interdisciplinary. Analysis assumed a wide range of published sources, museum exhibitions, monuments, representing images of "neighbors" at the border. Monitoring of regional media publications and sociological research will enable the formation of images borderland population neighbors and overcoming negative stereotypes and myths. The practical significance of the study lies in the analysis of impacts and risks to social potential of the region, civil society and the creation of favorable conditions for international and interregional relations.
