The object of research is the Defense Forces of the Security and Defense Sector of Ukraine. The purpose of the work is to develop theoretical principles and recommendations regarding the strategic guidance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, other components of the defense forces in accordance with NATO principles and standards. Research methods are system analysis, structural decomposition, analysis of hierarchies and functional analysis. The main results are: analysis of the system of strategic guidance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by other components of the defense forces; analysis of foreign experience in organizing strategic guidance of the armed forces; problematic issues of the bases of strategic guidance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, other components of the defense forces of the security and defense sector of Ukraine. Field of application is military science.
