The object of study - lifting, transporting and excavating machinery. Purpose - improving the design and technological preparation of production materials handling, construction and mining machines possible on the basis of comprehensive analysis of existing designs of machines and technologies and the development of new modern techniques to enhance their technological level. Methods of research - theoretical studies on mathematical models using mathematical package Maple, Excel spreadsheet processor, etc., experimental studies in laboratory settings using a strain gauge instrumentation.. Theoretical and practical results: 1. The search for ways to improve the technological preparation of production. 2. The influence of the structure and parameters of the executive mechanisms of the crawler and wheel propulsion engines on the energy intensity of the working process of cranes and excavators was studied. 3. The direction of the study of the influence of structural parameters of the structural schemes of drives on the energy intensity of working processes and the search for increasing the technical level of lifting-transport, construction and mining machines has been grounded. 4. The mathematical models of such mechanisms and methods of their theoretical and experimental research are developed. 5. The means of increasing the volumetric strength of welded metal structures of lifting-transport, construction and mining machines have been developed. The effectiveness of implementation: on the basis of methods of mathematical modeling of improving the technical level of performance handling and earth-moving machines in their design and modernization.
