During the research work research was carried out within the framework of such sections, namely: 1) the theoretical foundations of innovation and investment activity at micro and macroeconomic levels; 2) innovation and investment risks of development of basic branches of national economy; 3) comprehensive assessment and analysis of the investment attractiveness of innovation in the basic industries of the economy; 4) financial and economic security of the basic branches of the national economy; 5) strategy and tactics of innovation and investment development of the basic branches of the national economy. The first chapter is devoted to the disclosure of the theoretical foundations of the functioning of the depositary market, industrial infrastructure, the trans-sector sector and their impact on the development of innovation and investment processes. The second one - reveals the oversight of the management of innovation and investment risk of business entities, especially the risk management of rail transport and risk insurance in the implementation of innovation and investment activities. The third explores the innovative development model as a priority for competitiveness in a globally-fledged world. The fourth section is devoted to the financial and economic security of such components as the financial messenger market, the insurance market, the financial market, the banking market and enterprises. The fifth section reveals the strategy and tactics of innovation and investment development of the basic branches of the national economy.
