Ivchenco popup.description2 Subject of research - Oxide Dispersion Strengthened (ODS) alloys for the production of heat-resistant parts used in the energy industry, by means of additive technology. Work objective: For the whole consortium of OXIGEN project: - consolidating advanced European experience in the manufacture of specialized powder alloys by mechanical alloying and knowledge in the field of heat-resistant materials to enable them to be further used in the field of additive manufacturing of parts (methods: selective laser melting (SLM), laser metal deposition (LMD). This will create an integrated, the first in the world, ability to directly manufacture the entire chain from powder to parts and produce best-in-class heat-resistant alloys, in accordance with customer requirements, for their further use in electric power plants, -creation and investigation of various oxide dispersion strengthened alloys, individually developed to address specific issues on achieving the necessary characteristics of heat-resistant materials, which currently limit the use of parts in electric power plants. In the future, this will lead to the creation of more efficient turbines for the generation of electrical power. For Ivchenko-Progress SE: - demonstration of improvement in the performance of the compressor centrifugal wheel of an advanced gas turbine drive of Ivchenko-Progress SE made of the oxide dispersion strengthened titanium-aluminum alloy by laser metal deposition (LMD). The replacement of the centrifugal wheel material alone will allow to achieve an improvement in the compressor efficiency by ~ 3% and to reduce the specific fuel consumption of the engine by ~ 1%. In addition, the decrease in the centrifugal wheel weight, in consequence of abandoning the steel alloy and the transition to the strengthened titanium-aluminum alloy, will increase the capacity of the entire installation as a whole, - investigating the performance of the free turbine stage 4 blades of the Ivchenko-Progress SE gas turbine drive made of the oxide dispersion strengthened titanium-aluminum alloy by laser metal deposition (LMD) under operating conditions under the action of static, dynamic and cyclic loads, cyclic thermal stressed, aggressive gas environment at high temperature and susceptible to gas corrosion.5481 Product Description popup.authors Дмитрієв С.В.
