The purpose of the work is to investigate the etiological structure of Lime borreliosis (B. afzelii, B. burgdorferi sensu stricto and B. garinii) from inhabitants of a number of regions of Ukraine; to study the features of clinical manifestations of Lyme borreliosis in patients with skin diseases, nervous, cardiovascular and musculoskeletal systems, and the frequency of acute and chronic infections in adults and children in different regions of Ukraine; to investigate the ixod mites of regions selected from humans and the environment for the infection with the major species B. burgdorferi and B. miyamotoi, A. phagocytophilum.
