The object of research is the formation process of the information educational environment in the specialists training process in the university. The main goal of the research is to analyze the current state and perspectives of building a personal learning environment, as well as to justify and develop a methodology for designing and using a personal learning environment using the principles and technologies of distance education.. Research methods - the analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature and advanced pedagogical experience, abstraction with the aim of clarifying and concretizing conceptual categorical apparatus, systematization and logical generalization for theoretical substantiation of the structure of the components of the information learning environment, the definition and theoretical justification of the pedagogical conditions for the formation of the information learning environment, the purpose of development and the scientific substantiation of the model of an effective information learning environment. In accordance to the terms of reference and the timetable, the main trends in the development and use of distance learning technologies in universities of Ukraine were determined (theoretical and applied aspects), the methodological and theoretical bases of a personal learning environment were analyzed. The personal learning environment was considered in the process of applying mixed teaching. In the course of the study, the concept of the learning environment was defined as a multi-subject and multidisciplinary system that is aimed at providing conditions for the formation of professional competence of future specialists. This system satisfies the diversity of forms and methods of teaching, the needs of students and teachers. Organizational and pedagogical factors of the design of individual components of the learning environment content were found out: such as establishing feedback, selecting tools for organizing students independent and group work.
