The object of research is the processes of gas evolution, arising on the site of isolated lava production. The subject of the research is the parameters of methane gas concentrations and the parameters of the mine atmosphere that are present on the site of isolated lava production. The aim of the work is to provide an opinion on the possibility of an explosion of methane-air medium on the isolated section 122 of the northern lava of the k8l reservoir at horizon 820 m during the construction of the explosion-proof ventilation wall No. 4, under conditions unwritten fire. Research methods are analytical, theoretical, experimental.
