As research methods, an analytical method and methods of expert survey and alternative options were used. As a result of research work: the general requirements for water treatment are grounded; Methods of determining the need for parts (divisions) in drinking water and means of collective and individual water treatment were provided; recommendations for improving the effectiveness of the system of providing troops (forces) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with drinking water during a special period, taking into account the requirements of NATO standards; The draft Guidelines for the extraction and treatment of water and equipment for water supply points have been developed.
