popup.description2
The conceptual foundations of the social psychology of nation-building as a separate scholarly direction, as well as the methodological principles of its socio-psychological research are founded. Number of complexly structured models have been developed, namely: the process and potential of nation-building, the architectonics of the societal crisis in Ukraine, the archetype program of the conflict, etc. Number of theoretical and methodological statements are substantiated, which, in combination, expand the conceptual framework of the socio-psychological analysis of the phenomenon of national identity and reveal certain laws of its existence and development. The mechanism of the formation of social norms associating with an attempt to preserve the individual's usual behavior standards, which has not been presented earlier in the scholarly analysis, is theoretically substantiated and empirically tested.
