Theoretical and practical results - the theoretical foundations and manufacturing techniques by rolling long composite electrode materials with metal powders in a metal sheath are investigated. The conditions of plasticity are specified in the description of production processes by rolling method of composite electrode materials. Developed: the complex of mathematical models of the stress-strain state in the manufacture by rolling of long composite electrode materials. The finite element method is used to simulate the processes of rolling the powder tape in a metal shell. On the basis of the created complex of mathematical models, automated design of technological modes of manufacturing composite electrode materials was carried out by rolling. Novelty - the influence of the shape, thickness and mechanical properties of the shell material on the parameters of the deformation zone and the quality indicators of finished products for the manufacturing processes of long composite electrode materials is established by the rolling method. The regularities of the formation of the density of the powder core and the energy-power parameters of the process are established depending on the shape and material of the metal shell based on the definition of zones of its bending and abutment and, accordingly, the thickness of the powder layer at the entrance to the deformation zone. The dependences of the density of powder layers and power characteristics on the parameters of the metal shell and the magnitude of the compression of the powder layers for the fabrication processes by rolling two-layer composite electrode materials in the shell are established. Integration efficiency - a new method of manufacturing composite electrode materials has been developed, which makes it possible to reduce the energy-power parameters of the manufacturing process while simultaneously providing the required uniform density over the cross section of the powder core, which improves the quality and performance of composite electrode materials and the quality of the coatings obtained using them. Application area - in the manufacture of bagarized materials, in the design of new and improvement of existing rolling equipment, as well as in electrode production to produce high-quality powder electrodes of various designs to ensure uniform melting of the components and the formation of coatings with the required physical and mechanical properties.
