The research and comparison of the chemical composition of the limestone stone of dolomite production with the aim of its application in the technological process of sugar production, namely the content of calcium carbonate, the substances insoluble in hydrochloric acid (sand), the content of "one and a half" aluminum oxide and iron, magnesium carbonate , calcium sulfate (gypsum), mass fraction of alkali metal oxides and foreign impurities (clay, etc.). The influence of dolomite limestone on the process of purification of diffusion juice in laboratory conditions, as well as in the conditions of production, is investigated. Recommendations on the application of dolomitized limestone in a sugar plant have been developed.
