The compounds were synthesized and crystals of (Cu1-хAgx)7GeS5I solid solutions were cultivated, composites were prepared on the basis of (Cu1-хAgx)7GeS5I solid solutions in polymer and liquid crystal matrices, and thin films based on Me7GeS5I (Me = Cu, Ag) were obtained. Structural and mechanical properties of solid solutions were studied, crystalline structure modeling, mechanism of ion transport, as well as calculations of electronic structure of Me7GeS5I (Me = Cu, Ag) crystals were conducted. Electrical properties of (Cu1-хAgx)7GeS5I solid solutions as well as polymeric and liquid crystal composites on their basis are investigated.
