A purpose of work is synthesis of new bis(crown ethers) based on monoazacrown ethers differing in cycle size and nature of the connecting linker, the study of their complexation with s-elements cations. Preparation of a series of p-tert-butylcalix[4]arenes substituted along the lower rim; substituted on the 1 and 5 positions imidazoles and derivatives of 2,7-dioxy- and 2-monooxyfluorene-9-ones. Research methods - synthetic, UV, NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, potentiometry Interaction of azacrown ethers with glycol ditosylates in acetonitrile in the presence of sodium carbonate with yields of 58-76% were recieved a series of bis(azacrown ethers) differing in the length and nature of the chain linking cycles. Optimized the method of removal of the benzyl group from N-benzylazacrown ethers during the synthesis of the initial azacrown ethers. The method of pH metric titration studied the complexation of bis(azacrown ethers) with a polyoxyethylene binding chain with cations of alkali and alkaline earth metals. In all cases, sandwich complexes of 1:1 are formed. In some cases, the possible participation in the complexation of oxygen atoms of the chain linking cycles was noted. The influence on the stability constants of the complexes of both the size of the crown ether cycles and the length of the oxyethylene chain is revealed. A number of initial p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene derivatives, in varying degrees of substituted at the lower rim, has been synthesized. A method has been developed for construction on the basis of carboxy-compounds, including calixarenes, derivatives with imidazol rings bearing in positions 2- and 4- different substituents.
