The study of the electrochemical properties of the active mass of the electrodes for hydrogen generators. The effect of a change in voltage on the electrochemical activity of the electrodes was experimentally determined, an increase in the reactive layer of the active electrode with increasing current density was found, and the optimum distance between the electrodes was determined, which corresponds to the minimum initial voltage of hydrogen evolution. The design of electrode packages was developed on the basis of a certain optimal composition of electrode materials and interelectrode space.
