Genetic constructs that carry the genes of the therapeutic proteins IL-10 and SDF-1? have been constructed, high expression of the target proteins has been shown after the MSC culture transfection with them. It has been shown that the transplantation of transiently transfected MSCs in various pathologies is significantly more effective compared to non-transfected cells and is the same with the simultaneous introduction of MSCs with a recombinant protein. Concerning the instability of the latter, the use of modified MSCs can significantly increase the effectiveness of treatment.
