The subject of the research is the perspective personnel management system in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (hereinafter - the Armed Forces of Ukraine). The purpose of the research work is the scientific and methodological substantiation of approaches to the perspective personnel management system in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in accordance with modern principles and approaches. Research methods are systematic analysis, methods of multidimensional comparative analysis, methods of expert evaluations and mathematical modeling. The novelty of the work is that according to the results of the research work: the theoretical positions concerning the substantiation of the perspective personnel management system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been improved; author's interpretation of the evaluation of the effectiveness of the personnel services in the new conditions for the development of the armed forces; the influence of conditions and factors influencing the efficiency of the operation of the personnel management system is determined; the directions and ways of improvement of personnel management system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are substantiated; the estimation of quantitative indicators and qualitative characteristics of the perspective model of the system of personnel management, the trends of its development are defined, recommendations for its further improvement are formulated; models of personnel management system are proposed; The ways of introducing perspective personnel management system in the Armed Forces of Ukraine are revealed.
