The purpose of the work: improvement of the methodology of polygraph survey using complex application of psychological and psychophysiological study of personnel. The object of the research is to work with personnel in the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The subject of the study is the conduct of psychological and psychophysiological study of the personnel of the nomenclature of the appointment of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine during the decision of the tasks of selection, placement and appointment of personnel to positions in the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Research methods: theoretical - logical-dialectical method of cognition, system analysis and synthesis, comparison, generalization and systematization; empirical - surveys, testing, questionnaires, observations, recording experiments, methods of mathematical processing of the obtained data, expert evaluation. Results of work: the methods of studying the intellectually-cognitive qualities of personnel in the Armed Forces of Ukraine are substantiated; Methodical recommendations for the application of the method of diagnosing the intellectual and cognitive abilities of the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been developed; A methodology for checking the integrity of the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine using the format of verification and neutral questions was developed; the method of carrying out screening inspections of the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine using the format of questions of targeted fraud was developed; the algorithm of the main stage of the polygraph survey using the polygraph during the screening inspections in the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine was worked out; An Instruction on the Use of Screening Forms in Polygraph Surveys for the Recruitment of Personnel Decisions was developed. The results of the study can be used by specialists of the Department of Personnel Policy of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Main Department for Moral and Psychological Support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military management bodies and specialists of the Polygraph Scientific and Methodological Center of Personnel Policy of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The scientific novelty of the work is to improve the methods and methods of using the procedure of psychological study and psychophysiological surveys of staff using the polygraph in order to ensure the qualitative selection, placement and appointment of the personnel of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the positions of the nomenclature of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, prevention of risks and identification of potential spheres of abuse in the system of personnel management.
