As a result, four transforms of the Podolanka cultivar were obtained. The Agrobacterium-mediated transformation of 1791 calli obtained from immature wheat embryos of the Podolanka variety was carried out with the same vectors. After selection, 144 regenerant plants were chosen, 45 of which were analyzed by PCR-method. The sequence of nptII gene was detected in 17 plants. The vector pCB135 and the regenerative-active genotype PLS61xDK267 have been selected for biolistic transformation of maize callus. It was found that the use of maize callus of hybrid genotypes for genetic transformation was more effective compared to callus of the inbred lines. As a result of Agrobacterium-mediated transformation of 1731 calli, obtained from immature embryos of maize, 18 potential transformant plants were regenerated. The work has been carried out to develop a vector with glyphosate oxidase gene.
