The object of the research is the processes of ensuring of financial stabilization and increasing of capitalization of the regions of Ukraine. The purpose of the study is to develop theoretical, methodological and applied principles of financial stabilization of sustainable development of Ukrainian regions and increase their capitalization. Methods of research - logical generalization, synthesis, analysis, comparison, modeling, program-target, strategic analysis, economic-statistical, graphical, graph-analytical and cartographic methods. The achievement of the research goal had stipulated the need to identify and solve the following main tasks: to develop the conceptual framework for financial stabilization of the regions of the state and increase their capitalization; to develop a methodology for diagnosing financial support for the development of regions of Ukraine, determining the level of their financial stability and capitalization; to develop tools for financial stabilization of regions of Ukraine and increase their capitalization. The theoretical and practical results of the research are to develop the theory of financial stabilization and increase capitalization of the region's economy, as well as methods for the formation and implementation of a regional policy of financial stabilization and increase of capitalization in conditions of financial decentralization. The results of the research were introduced in the work of the Volyn Regional Council, the Department of Finance of the Volyn Regional State Administration, the leading enterprises of the Volyn region, as well as in the educational process of the Lutsk NTU. Key words: financial support, socio-economic development of the region, financial stability, regional capitalization, regional asymmetries, convergence, financial security of the region.
