The psychological significance of subject activity in different contexts of virtual reality and in various activities carried out by users on the Internet, as well as the role of subject activity in the intellectual development of adults and distance learning group work with adults, in psychological support of adults and elderly people, is shown. A conception of the adults subject activity development in the virtual space is created. The psychological conditions of effective development of subject activity in the virtual space on the material of distance educational and developing courses of psychological content are revealed. Technologies of subject activity formation of adults in virtual space have been developed, virtual learning environment for the development of subject activity of adult users of social networks has been designed.
