Project goal was the study of aerodynamic characteristics of a flexible constructions, in particular of the flexible wing of the hang glider. The simulation of the wing of a modern training hang glider was carried out and its aerodynamic properties and strength characteristics were analyzed by means of Ansys system. The method of shape optimization for improving aerodynamic characteristics was proposed. Software multi criterial optimization support sysmem"A-ranger Online" was developed.
