The subject of research is the methods of analysis of linear and nonlinear boundary value problems of the mechanics of a deformable solid, which describe the behavior of thin-walled structures. The aim of the work is to improve the accuracy, reliability and efficiency of determining the vector displacement fields, tensor fields of stresses and strains, critical parameters of stability, frequencies of natural and parametric oscillations, ultimate loads (bearing capacity) of power structures of aerospace equipment. The research is based on the approaches of the general theory of boundary value problems, functional analysis, variational principles and methods of mechanics of a deformable solid, numerical methods of linear algebra. The main results obtained are the further development of the method for identifying boundary conditions, which makes it possible to build analytical and analytical-numerical solutions for complex structures, and approbation of geometrically nonlinear theories of beams, plates and shells obtained earlier, which are based on the Biot stress symmetric tensor and right stretch tensor . The development of the method of identifying boundary conditions consists in expanding the class of problems that they solve to static problems with the ability to identify boundary conditions using the finite element method. For geometrically nonlinear models of beams, plates, and shells, weak solutions are constructed, their convergence and accuracy are investigated, and a number of practically important examples of calculations are given.
