Objective: on the basis of the study of the food status and the psycho-emotional state of boys 10 and 13 years old, who live permanently in the areas of radioecological control, to scientifically substantiate diets that will promote the modified influence on the physical and sexual development of this category of children. Research methods: a medical questionnaire, clinical, anthropometric, spectral-dynamic, psychological, and statistical. During the reporting period examined 1120 children, of which: 561 living in urban-type settlement Ivankiv and villages of Ivankiv district and 559 students from Petropavlivska Borschagivka, Kievo-Svyatoshinsky district. The assessment of nutritional status determination of physical and sexual development, certain phenotypic signs of vitamin sufficiency. The study of actual nutrition of the examined children showed that it does not correspond to physiological needs. Diets strain the contents of plastic, energy and catalytic components. Determination of body mass index in the examined boys showed that the percentage of students with underweight and obesity was higher in children Ivankiv and were, on average, 12,2 and 20,0 %, whereas in boys Petropavlivska Borshchahivka, it was 10,3 and 19,6 %. Conversely, the percentage of pupils with normal body weight were higher in boys Ivankiv and averaged, and 51,9 % and in boys Petropavlivska Borshchahivka - 51,5 % of schoolboys. The percentage of pupils with increased body weight were higher in boys Petropavlivska borshchahivka and averaged 18,9 %, and in boys Ivankiv - 16,8 % of schoolboys. According to the test results on the emotional state of the examined have high levels of anxiety in most children, regardless of age and place of residence. Were indicated the low level of social communication and the presence of changes in emotional state. The measures aimed at improving the nutrition of children aimed at strengthening and preserving health, prophylaxis of nutritional and alimentary dependent diseases related to the violation of food status, and the lack of essential nutrients in the child's diet are substantiated.
