Research methods are theoretical and empirical analysis, methods of mathematical statistics for quantitative and qualitative analysis of empirical data. The content of the concept of formation of a health-saving outlook as a fundamental platform for the development of modern pedagogical education was supplemented. The health-saving supporting system was implemented in the educational process of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and G.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University as a condition of formation health-saving outlook. The factors of optimization of health preservation on the basis of realization of individual recreational programs are proved. The subjects of the educational process were provided with information on technologies for preserving and strengthening the health, means of prevention of infectious and non-infectious disease, hardening of the body, an individual motor activity and physical activity, healthy eating, calculating individual energy to prevent obesity, mental self-regulation as a way of valeological relaxation, correction of a day regimen (sleep-vigilance) with consideration of individual biorhythmological types of workability and providing first aid measures. Educational activities on the prevention of the spread of harmful habits (alcoholism, tobacco smoking, drug addiction) among young people were conducted. The components that determine the formation of a health-saving outlook, value relation to own health and health of others, mobilization of protective systems of the organism and support of the optimal state of the adaptive mechanisms of the subjects of the educational process were investigated. The system of formation of a health-saving outlook has been developed. The forms and methods of training according to physiological and psychological principles of preservation of health were developed and implemented. The program of the discipline for the courses of teachers and teachers of the subject "Fundamentals of Health" was introduced.
