The object of research is clean and mixed plantation afforestation of larch of European, delicate and broad-leaved, larch and fir, pine needles of Menzis as objects for obtaining wood for fuel and industrial needs, as well as energy plantations of species and clones of poplars and willows. Subject of research - peculiarities of laying and growing of plantations, their growth, productivity and biotic resistance, principles and mechanisms of reproduction of indigenous mixed wood stands on the basis of cyclic method of their cultivation on the principles of breeding. The purpose of the work lies in the theoretical substantiation and the development of practical recommendations for introducing on plantations of forest land occupied by low-productivity plantations, temporary cultivation on the principles of breeding of plantation forest plantations and energy plantations as objects of obtaining significant volumes of industrial and energy wood raw materials for a relatively short period of time. Methods of research - generalization, component analysis, logistic and historical approach, forestry, taxation, mathematical, transfer taxing, comparative ecology, variational statistics. The conceptual approach to the cultivation of wood in plantation plantations based on breeding principles is proposed, aimed at intensive forestry with the rational use of natural potential forces of nature. It entails receiving significant volumes of wood for relatively short periods of time without the use of high-value forestry techniques and the partial reimbursement of costs through intermediate use. The resource potential of plantation forest plantations with the participation of fast-growing species, such as Larix decidua Mill., Larix kempferi Carr., Larix eurolepis H., Pseudotsuga menziesii [Mirb. Franco], as well as species and clones of willow and poplar - Salix purpurea L., S. triandra L., S. viminalis L., Tordis (S. schwerinii ? S. viminalis), Inger (S. triandra x S. viminalis), Populus deltoides x Populus the pyramidalis
