The aim of the work was to establish the effects of the main structural deformation mechanisms on quantitative patterns of changes in crystallographic texture (Kearns texture parameter) during the process of deformation zirconium-niobium alloys, what is connected with ensuring the safety of the operation of thermal neutron reactors, increasing terms of their operation, improving the performance of materials made of zirconium-niobium alloys, which are used in fuel assemblies constructions. It is established that the main mechanism of textural changes is twinning. The sequence of the twinning systems in the process of rolling materials is found.
