Purpose: to increase the efficiency of diagnosis of pulmonary artery thromboembolism and its complications by using computer tomography. Research methods: radiation (computed tomography) and statistical methods. Obtained results: the diagnostic significance of the native CT is the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism on the visualization of two signs of the pulmonary heart - an increase in the diameter of the trunk and the main branches of the air, upper vena cava and the presence of a lung cartilage. CTPAG makes it possible to determine the direct signs of acute and chronic COP Separately, it is shown that in chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension, CTAGG allows 77% of observations to determine its direct symptoms in the form of eccentric thrombus in the proximal parts of the LA, its changes along with the progressive expansion of the trunk and proximal branches of the airway and the presence of collateral circulation in the form of visualization of the bronchial arteries, as well as the corresponding changes in the right heart departments, and also accompanied by functional changes in the lungs yakh in the form of regional violations of perfusion. Differential diagnosis of acute and chronic pulmonary embolism is performed. The proposed technique КТАПГ will find application in hospitals dealing with the problem of diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary embolism. The scientific novelty of the obtained results: in the work, the semiotics of both the native and postcontrast CT of the major changes in the lungs, trunk vessels and heart that arise in the pulmonary embolism are studied and supplemented in detail. The possibilities of KTAPG in the determination of the prevalence, the nature of the location of blood clots in the pulmonary artery and the identification of sources of TBD with the introduction of contrast agents is studied. The possibilities of computer tomography in diagnostics of changes of a pulmonary tissue arising at this pathology are studied. The advantages of this technique in comparison with traditional methods of diagnosis of pulmonary embolism are determined. Based on the obtained data, the location and significance of CTAGG in the clinical diagnosis of pulmonary embolism were determined. The high accuracy of CTAGG in the differential diagnosis of acute and chronic pulmonary embolism in large branches of the pulmonary artery has been proved.
