The object of study is the processes of formation and wavelet processing of multispectral and panchromic remote sensing images obtained by a scanner method. The goal of the work is to develop a theoretical base, models, approaches, methods and technologies for digital processing, restoration and interpretation of multi-channel data and images. The research methods: mathematical modeling, interpolation and data approximation and the theory of epipolar geometry, geometric transformations, the theory of wavelet-transformation of signals and statistical processing of experimental data. Novelty: the new methods of digital processing and raising the informativeness of multichannel images based on pyramidal batch wavelet decomposition, taking into account the specifics of their fixation, are proposed. The influence of the characteristics of the wavelet transform on the quality of the fusion of multichannel images is studied, it provides the speed of the wavelet transform and automatic selection of the wavelet basis. The effectiveness of the proposed in the work of mathematical models of combining images of a projection nature is confirmed by introductions in LLC 'EOS DATA Analytics UKRAINE' and in the educational process of the Oles Honchar Dnipro National University. Scope of application: GIS, surveillance systems.
