The research also focuses on specific function of intertextual relationships within the space of a Japanese short story text (Akutagawa's writings in particular). The interrelated centre of the study is translatological aspect of the object, such as intertextual incorporations to the text and methods of conveying them to European languages. The aim of the study is to analyze the peculiarities of intertextual incorporations in Chinese and Japanese literary texts, to examine the methods of conveying them to European languages, and to study the uniqueness of Confucian semantics reinterpretation represented by the main characters in classical Chinese novel. Methods of research - literary-historical, comparative, culture-historical, hermeneutical, syntectical. The academic novelty of the research is determined by the analyses of diffrent forms of representing Confucian concepts through semantics and images in ancient, medieval, and contemporary writings in China and Japan, by the study of artistic dimension of Confucian thought, and by the observation the methods of conveying intertextual incorporations through analyses of translations of Akutagawa's writings to European languages. The content of the report can be used both for further theoretical, comparative, and literary conceptualization of Chinese and Japanese classical literary texts as a phenomena and in-depth study of contemporary modern Chinese, Japanese and Asian-Euro-Atlantic writers, who take this literature as a sourse and as a benchmark. The results of the study can be used for lectures on the history of world literature, comparative literature, special courses on literary literary translation, stylistics and lexicology of the foreign language . Prognostic assumptions concerning the development of the object of the study - further theoretical and methodological advances for comparative theoretical poetics in the field of classical and contemporary Far-East and Western authors studies.
