Final report on research work: 11 p., 1 table, 2 sources. The object of the study is patients with lumbar osteochondrosis of the spine and associated osteoporosis. The purpose of the work is to study the influence of the sulfate-hydrocarbonate mire of the Mikulinetsky field of punctural physiotherapy and the complex of therapeutic gymnastics on the course and effects of lumbar osteochondrosis with the development of new complexes for restorative treatment. Methods of research - general clinical, biochemical, immunological, X-ray, and statistical. For the first time, the combined effect of therapeutic complexes with limited area, temperature and duration of exposure to applications of sulfate-hydrocarbonate peatblock, balneotherapy, puncture electro- and pharmacotherapy, and exercise therapy in patients with lumbar osteochondrosis was studied. The features of the lumbar spine osteochondrosis during accompanying osteoporosis, the mineral density of the bones of the spine and the proximal thigh, the state of cellular and humoral immunity were established, new methods of treatment for such patients were developed based on the use of the limited area, temperature regime and duration of applications of peloids, hydrogen sulphide baths, electro- and pharmacotherapy and massage. The influence of sulfate-hydrocarbon peat blast, balneotherapy of electro- and pharmacopuncture therapy, massage, medical hymnistics on the restoration of patients' capacity at different stages of medical rehabilitation was determined.
