The object of the study relates to pathological anatomy, particularly, morphological features of human oncological diseases, expression of immunohistochemical markers and criteria for their evaluation. Purpose: development and implementation of differential criteria for pathomorphological diagnosis and prognosis of different forms of tumors on the basis of a comprehensive study of localization, histological structure and immunophenotype of the process. Methods of research: histological, immunohistochemical, morphometric and statistical. The scientific problem is solved with regard to the peculiarities of differential pathomorphological diagnosis and prognosis of diffuse gliomas of the brain, gastrointestinal stromal tumors, anaplastic tumors and neoplasias with unknown primary localization, epithelial tumors of the ovaries, primary lymphomas of the brain based on the study of the histological structure and the features of immunohistochemical expression of markers of biological properties. According to the results of the research, an approach of astrocytic brain tumors diagnosis and predicting the metastasis of the larynx squamous cell carcinoma has been developed.
