The result of the work is the development of psycho-educational measures in the complex treatment of patients with epilepsy on the basis of studying their clinical and psychopathological characteristics, patterns of psychosocial functioning and quality of life. The proposed principles and algorithm of conducting psycho-educational measures allowed to optimize the ability of patients and their families to maintain a high level of adherence to treatment. During 2018, the high effectiveness of psycho education was established in comparison with the traditional comprehensive treatment for the reduction of affective symptoms in patients with epilepsy, improving their quality of life and social functioning, as evidenced by data from the dynamic analysis
