The scientific novelty of the obtained results is based on the formation of a scientific approach to public relations as a social process, provides an idea of the peculiarities of the communication system of Ukrainian society, the specifics of communication with the public and the methodology of research in this sphere, the history of establishing relations with the public as a social institute, science and discipline, a professional and ethical component of public relations.
