The purpose of the work is to carry out a lot of theoretical research of random oscillations and processes of dynamic interaction of carriage elements with running parts of perspective structures, including welded structures, and their contact interaction with rail substrates; forecasting of dynamic qualities of carriages of perspective designs; development on the basis of the received results of recommendations on updating various units of railway carriers of Ukraine's freight fleet to increase their dynamic qualities, extend the life of running gears, reduce stresses in contact areas of wheels and rails and wear of contacting bodies. Methods of research - deformed solid state mechanics, statistical dynamics, spectral analysis, elasticity theory, finite elements, numerical integration. The main results are the improved mathematical support for a detailed study of random oscillations of railcars with running parts of perspective structures and their interaction with the railway; the research was carried out to reduce the dynamic interaction of elements of running parts of carriages and a pair of "wheel - rail"; recommendations to improve the chassis parts of the freight cars of the new generation have been developed.
