Samples of coal in mine opening 1bis of North longwall of coalbed l1 of mine "Novogrodovskaya" were selected. With the help of a complex method using chromotography, investigation of the propensity of the coal benk l1 to spontaneous combustion was carried out. It is established that in the investigated section of the mine field coal is not dangerous for spontaneous combustion. Based on the results of the performed work, recommendations were made and transferred to the mine.5481
