A method of automated decryption of satellite images for detection of foliage drying of forest plantations, namely pine (Pinus sylvestris) as a result of lesions of bark beetle (Ips acuminatus) in Zhytomyr Polissia and further prevention of its spread as well as appropriate guidelines were developed.
