Within this project the collection and processing of data collected during along the roads surveys has been carried out. Data for determining the land cover type were collected along the roads of the Kiev region in a statistically adequate manner. The Leaf Area Index LAI was evaluated in a non-destructive manner in accordance with the VALERI protocol in the CANEYE software.
