The subject of the work are theoretical and methodological provisions and methodical tools for modeling and predicting the behavior of financial markets as an information basis for ensuring state financial stability and security. The following methods of research and forecasting of prices in financial markets were used: analysis, synthesis and scientific abstraction (in the study of categorical-conceptual apparatus); a comparative analysis (when considering the basic theoretical concepts that explain the behavior of prices in financial markets. During the first stage of the project, the feasibility of implementing information-analytical support for the state financial security system from different segments of the financial markets (foreign exchange, stock, derivatives, etc.) was substantiated. In addition, existing work were improved in terms of deepening the nature and mechanisms for the application of information from financial markets to reduce the level of information asymmetry, price volatility, probability of occurrence of crisis phenomena. All this in a complex creates the necessary theoretical basis for solving the problems of informational and analytical provision of the process of financial security management of the country.
