 According to the results of complex studies in the Paleozoic - the lower and middle Devonian Volyn-Podilsky NCO, typing of breeds and 43 lithotypes have been identified. Verified high prospects of oil and gas bearing rocks of the lower and middle Devonian of this NGO. In the carbonates of the Upper Jurassic - Neocomian of the Ukrainian Precarpathians, zones are identified for tintinides and foraminifera, which correlate with those in the Mediterranean and the Crimean-Caucasian regions. The results of studies of the upper albus are considered as the basis of the new sediment model of the region, which will be the basis for the forecast of oil and gas content of these deposits. The performed lithologic-biostratigraphic studies of the pre-Carpathian bends of the Neogene breeds allow to correlate individual complexes with such International Stratigraphic Scale. The stages of development of foraminifera of the early Paleogene of the South of Ukraine were carried out, biostratigraphic and lithological study of the mid-octogenic rocks of the Crimean foothills and the lower Paleogene of the structures of the Kerch Peninsula. The results of research have, to a certain extent, contributed to the clarification of the geological models of sedimentary complexes and the assessment of their prospects for oil and gas. The main conclusions of the lithologic-stratigraphic studies of oil and gas prospective prospects of the Western and Southern Ukraine pineapple complexes will become the scientific and factual basis for the justification of hydrocarbon prospecting directions in the Western and Southern regions of Ukraine.
