The model of the automatic eddy current defectoscope, whose operation is based on the Hilbert transformation, is developed: when processing the signal from the eddy current converter, the instantaneous amplitudes and Hilbert phases are used to form the signs of the surface or subsurface defect presence. The hardware and software of non-contact geometric adaptation tools was developed on the basis of the specialized laser-triangulation sensor. The sensor is designed to measure the relative surface coordinates that are used to identify of the control object geometric parameters and to form a scan trajectory by the eddy current converter. A model of an automatic non-destructive eddy current control system based on an industrial robot equipped with a developed flaw detector, sensor, and eddy current converter installed at the last link is developed. The obtained results can be used as the basis for the creation of innovative robot-technology sections of automatic non-destructive eddy current testing, capable of ensuring high repeatability of the control results, increasing productivity and guaranteeing the high quality of eddy current control of products with complex geometry.
