The subject of the research is the scientific and methodological support of modernization of the organization of educational process in the institutions of out-of-school education. Research methods: theoretical analysis of normative, psychological, pedagogical and methodological literature for identifying issues requiring scientific and methodological support, generalization of pedagogical experience, the obtained data and identification of priority areas of research and development of provision, methods of mathematical statistics, comparative analysis, interpretation and generalization; empirical research methods (observation, conversation, questioning, testing, method of expert assessments,), the statement and formation stages of the pedagogical experiment. The scientific novelty of the research: for the first time the ways of modernization of the organization of educational process in the out-of-school education are theoretically grounded; the essence of the concept of educational process in institutions of out-of-school education is specified; further development of the provisions to strengthen the potential of educational opportunities of out-of-school education in modernizing the organization of educational process.
