The research has been carried out in the field of on-board equipment of electric vehicles; measures and solutions have been recommended for integration of electric vehicles into electric grids. New power electronic converter is suggested for the electric vehicle's powertrain, the special schematic allows utilization of energy from two storages (lithium-ion battery and ultracapacitor or fuel cells). The optimal ratio of capacities of the two storage components has been found. Recommendations are given regarding technical aspects of quick charging stations for electric vehicles. The feasibility study is carried out.
