The subject: is a set of the procedures for the maintenance programs development, other organizational and technical measures, through the determination of the distributions of the preferences and management in MA situations that contribute to the aircraft airworthiness maintaining. The purpose: is to optimize the management of the operation of an active complex technical object (ACTO) and its safety in the conditions of multi-alternativeness (MA). The complex indicators of operation and repair of the ACTO are developed, which explicitly take into account the existing MA and possible ambiguity of operational situations. The theoretical bases of certainty/uncertainty (CU) of the subjective preferences, which point at the orientation of the InP through the sign of the orientation of the CU and generalizing the models, and the methods of calculation of the dependencies are proposed on the basis of the theory. For the construction of the AE optimal control systems and diagnostics, a new methodology has been developed, based on which the applicable models of the ACTO operation are constructed in the view of the object’s safety and performance. The doctrine of the entropy conditional optimization for the forecasting and analysis of the efficiency of the alternative methods and forms of the AE units’ maintenance was created, on the basis of which the technique was developed and implemented into production.
